Effective January 1st, the "Overnight Tax" in Greek hotels has been replaced with the "Climate Resilience Tax" to support the emergency fund for natural disasters. This new tax will be applied as follows:
1-2 star hotels: 2 EUR per night
3-star hotels: 5 EUR per night
4-star hotels: 10 EUR per night
5-star hotels and Villas: 15 EUR per room/ per night
The tax is to be paid upon arrival at the hotel. Please note, even if your reservation was made before January 1st, this additional charge applies, and you are legally obligated to pay it.
